The debut album of Aaliyah Age Ain't Nothing But A Number was released in 1994. The album was Gold at the age of 15 years old. It was done as an album that was heavily inspired by R. Kelly and it placed her in the limelight. In the year 1996, Jermaine Durpri as well as Timbaland joined forces to record her second Album One In A Million. This album featured the track If Your Boyfriend Only Knew as the single number one. The second album of Aaliyah entitled One in a Million, was released in 1996. It featured the top hit single If Your Girl Only Knew. She was also in Romeo Must Die, a romance/action movie with Jet-Li. The role was offered to her when she was spotted by director Joel Silver at an awards event. In 2002 she got to play the horror film Queen of the Damned which was inspired by the Anne Rice novel. Aarti Mann.....................Aarti Mann also known as Aarti Majumdar is an American actor who is best known for her portrayal of Priya Koothrappali in the popular TV series The Big Bang Theory. She is a first-generation Indian-American who was born in Connecticut. The stage name Mann comes from her married name Mankad. Mann uses Aarti Man and Aarti Mahumdar as her official name. Although she began with minor film and TV roles, her acting started becoming more popular in the middle of 2000s. Apart from The Big Bang Theory, the other shows she has starred in are Leverage (2013) Suits (2014) and Grey's Anatomy (2017.) She has also been featured in commercials for big companies like the international auto manufacturer Volvo. Her daughter is a resident of Los Angeles and is pursuing acting.
